November is (Canine) Epilepsy Month and It's Survey Time and Debut of Gibson's Epi-Tips!

November is National Epilepsy Awareness Month and Gibson and I will be featuring lots of information, resources, and giveaways this month as as part of our "Live Gib Strong" K-9 Epilepsy Awareness Campaign, so be sure to check back here throughout the month, and bring your friends, too!

To kick things off, we are conducting a survey to poll Epi-dog parents in order to collect information that we will share with everyone once all the analytics are in. If you, or someone you know, is or has been a parent to a dog (any breed) who has/had Canine Epilepsy or seizure disorders, we'd really appreciate your taking a few minutes to fill out my survey below, and sharing a link to our blog so that others may also share their info with us as well. Thank you!

I will also be featuring a "Live Gib Srong" Epi-Tip each day for the month of November (and we'll repeat it again in March for Purple Day Awareness Month) in an ongoing effort to bring awareness to this disorder, help educate people on seizures and Canine Epilepsy, and to help promote the understanding that these beautiful, amazing, loyal, and loving Epi-dogs can - and do - live full, happy lives! Here is my boy Gibson with our fist Epi-Tip:

Also, a *Sweet Deal* & Giveaway for the Month of November! See full story of its development HERE), to The Wally Foundation~Canine Epilepsy (TWF), AND...it gets even sweeter, they are also sponsoring four half-pound bags of Gibbie Snacks that we will randomly select for four lucky winners -and those winners will also receive fresh-baked cookies for the hu-parents! Meet "Precious!"

"Woo...I'm Precious...and I'm an Epi-Dog, too!"
Precious has Canine Epilepsy just like Gibson. Her hu-mom, Gia, knows just what it's like having a furbaby with Canine Epilepsy, and she has joined in our "Live Gib Strong" K-9 Epilepsy Awareness Campaign by hosting an online Avon fundraiser, where a portion of sales will be donated to The Wally Foundation~Canine Epilepsy (TWF). TWF offers possible financial assistance to rescues, fosters, and families of dogs with idiopathic epilepsy. To take advantage of this online shopping offer, vist Gia's online store HERE and be sure to enter CODE: AFEPI13 when checking out so TWF gets the donation! Hurry though, this shopping event closes on November 30th! Woos and Thank Yous, Gia!
